Golfers at Buffalo Creek Golf Course in Palmetto, Florida, were shocked when they spotted an incredibly huge alligator casually strolling across the course. A golfer Charles Helms was able to get a video of the huge alligator as it emerged and moved across the field. Football legend Samuel Eto'o came into Nigeria yesterday to honour Joseph Yobo in his testimonial match which took place in Port Harcourt, Rivers state. He came in his private jet and after playing in the match, Samuel Eto'o, who wanted to fly back immediately, was unable to do so as his private jet was not allowed to fly out. The Airport authority claimed he didn't have permission to land at the Port Harcourt airport and fined him. And according to a LIB source, after paying the fine, his plane was still not allowed to fly, up until late last night.

The Lagos State Government has lifted the restriction order on human and vehicular movement during today's Environmental Sanitation Exercise.
According to a statement by the spokesman for the Ministry of Environment, Tunde Awobiyi, the decision was taken in order to allow free movement of examination materials and also for Students, Invigilators and other Stakeholders to ensure effective participation in the National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) Examination which is to hold across the country today Saturday, May 28th.

India's foreign ministry says it is looking into an alleged attack on a Nigerian student by a local man in the southern city of Hyderabad. 26-year-old Bamilola Kazim was allegedly assaulted by Mohammed Gafoor after a row on Wednesday, May 25. He was treated for wounds at a local hospital and released.
Last week a student from the Democratic Republic of Congo, Masunda Kitada Oliver was beaten to death by a group of Indian men after an argument in Delhi.
